PROGRAM

Introduction While our economies recover and IPO’s are returning to the market, we notice that banks, companies and investors are still facing several related effects such as increased regulation, low interest rates and deflation. Although the circumstances are improving, many technology driven and growth Benelux companies are insufficiently aware of how to obtain access to capital.
Objective The Benelux has been on the forefront of many joint conventions. Therefore, while the capital markets are reshaping, the Benelux Capital Day aims to fill a gap in our common investor communities: on one hand this platform will facilitate the cross fertilization between our investor markets and on the other hand, we strive to make technology and growth companies in the Benelux more attractive towards investors. In a nutshell the Benelux Capital Day aims to:
    • Create an annual investment platform for technology driven entrepreneurs and growth companies, institutional investors, private equity, family offices, etc., while promoting financial transactions between our countries.
    • Offer a strong portfolio of listed and non-listed Benelux technology and Innovative companies, in demand of equity, debt and/or mergers & acquisitions for local and foreign investors from Europe, and potentially the US.
    • Provide a status update on how to improve access to capital for listed and non-listed companies with topics such as: attractive investment instruments, new EU regulations, perception of the financial markets on technology and innovative companies, etc.
